Vacancy- Fundraising & Communications Manager

The fundraising and communications manager has a key role to play in MRN’s financial stability and diversifying its income streams. They will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer in planning and implementing MRN’s fundraising strategy  to grow and diversify our income, particularly from unrestricted sources, to sustain and develop our wor.

The role holder will identify and pursue fundraising opportunities and develop fundraising proposals, as well as relationships with the main funders in the migrants’ rights and other relevant sectors.

The role holder will lead on communications at MRN, and will have an excellent eye for detail as well as ability to create new and dynamic contect to connect and engage our existing and new audiences. 

They will be alert to the issues affecting migrants, refugees and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities. 

The charity is looking for exceptional candidates that meet the person specification and have a:

  • Commitment to upholding and advancing the rights of all migrants
  • Readiness to work with those who support the MRN mission, values and vision

The salary will be in the order of £37,849 per annum pro rata.  In addition, MRN contributes 6% of salary to pensions.
