Event: Borders + Hostility in Higher Education

30 May 2022, 6-7.30pm, online.

How do the hostile environment policies and border controls operate within UK higher education? What is marketised higher education and how does this correlate with the hostile environment policy? How are migrant university staff and students coping with increased border checks on campus?

Join Unis Resist Border Control (URBC), Migrants’ Rights Network (MRN) and our panel of experts as we discuss these issues and many others in relation to the hostile environment policy within UK higher education.

This meeting is designed to reach out to legal professionals. We encourage solicitors from the following areas- education law, immigration, and human rights- to attend.
