January 2023 Newsletter

Happy New Year!

We hope you have all had a restful break and are keeping well. At MRN, we have hit the ground running and been working hard to raise awareness of the issues migrants face in the UK. Our CEO Fizza Qureshi was interviewed on LBC explaining why we need safe routes for people crossing the Channel. We have also been very busy with our Words Matter campaign. We have created some new explainers including a new series on why images matter.

As life continues to get harder and harder for migrants living in the UK, we have launched our Winter Migrant Solidarity Appeal. By donating to this appeal, you will be helping give our MAP fellows the tools they need to advocate for themselves.

2022 was a big year for us and we are having a bigger and bigger impact. 2023 will undoubtedly bring more struggles, but we are committed to this fight, and we hope you will continue to stand with us.

Thank you for your support.

In solidarity,

The MRN team
